the environment - a few basic changes can go a long way
OK. Here it is.
Energy efficiency creates local jobs, reduces pollution, offers US manufacturing a way to succeed and reduces our dependence on foriegn oil.
What else do you need? A punch in the face? I offer you a way to solve just about every problem we have in this country and you look at me blankly, Let's try it again.
Jobs.
Environment.
Manufacturing.

Once again easy is the answer.
1) Riase the amount you are taxed on from $72,500 to 100,000.
2) Cap the max benefit and raise the minimum benefit.
3) Offer a 125% tax deduction of the annual benefit if one chooses to opt out of the Social Security system so the afluent can say no AND gain from that.
4) Balance the budget without borrowing from the SS pool.

taxes - how flat can they get?
I say this flat:
10% less than $40K
20% $40 to 60K
25% $60 to 100K
30% $100 to 250K
33% $250 to 1,000,000
35% $1,000,000 to 5,000,000
45% Over $5,000,000
I know having over $5,000,000 in annual salary is nice but do you really need it all to pay the gas bill?
health care - privatize the congressional health plan and watch the changes happen
